A former Olympic athlete, David Spears has focused on labour, employment and administrative law since he was called to the bar over 20 years ago. In addition, David has an expanding practice in Sports Law.

Najma is an employment and litigation lawyer with a particular interest in disability cases. Her law practice includes helping our clients on labour and employment matters. As well, Najma is also a personal injury and insurance lawyer with Wyllie Spears’ sister firm, Howard Yegendorf & Associates.

Mario has been focused on Labour and Employment law since he arrived at Wyllie Spears LLP as a summer student in 2015. Throughout his articles, he gained experience by assisting in the representation of union clients in grievance arbitrations, unfair labour practice applications, and in judicial review proceedings. 

Jamie Wyllie represented unions and their members for more than 25 years in labour board hearings, grievance hearings and human rights claims. He also advised unions regarding internal affairs matters. After a long battle with cancer, Counsel and friend, Jamie Wyllie, went home to be with his Lord on October 2, 2014.
